School Council
Our school council is a representative and diverse group of young people who are elected by their peers within their class for an academic year. The council plays a key role in contributing to meaningful change across the school and providing a pupil perspective on everyday school life. They have a positive impact on pupils, staff and the wider school community and they are proud to be members of the council.
The school council has been key in arranging several whole school events to improve pupil and staff wellbeing, including a whole school disco and party snacks. They have played a key part in ensuring that there is enough play equipment that is appropriate for the young people to access during wet playtimes. They sometimes take part in interviews of staff and ask inquisitive questions and provide some really useful feedback.
The school council meets once per half term and is managed by Rob Bayliss.
