We are an Outstanding Special School with a reputation for providing innovative and individualised education to young people aged 3-18 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re excited to invite two qualified teachers to join our vibrant, supportive, and forward-thinking team starting in April 2025.

What makes us special:

At our school, we don’t just teach, we inspire. Our dedicated staff work in close collaboration to create a truly inclusive environment where every young person’s uniqueness is celebrated. We believe in fostering independence, creativity, and resilience in our young people, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking two qualified teachers who are not only committed to making a difference, but also share our passion for:

  • Personalised learning – you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your teaching to meet the individual needs of each young person, providing meaningful and enriching educational experiences.
  • Innovative teaching practices – we encourage a creative, hands-on approach to learning, with access to state-of-the-art resources and a strong culture of professional development.
  • Building relationships – we value the connections you’ll make with young people, families, and colleagues, and we understand the importance of a nurturing, supportive atmosphere for both staff and young people.
  • Collaboration and growth – our team is built on trust, respect, and shared goals. We foster a growth mindset, and professional development is a core part of our ethos.

What we offer:

  • Ongoing professional development and opportunities for career progression.
  • A well-resourced and purpose-built environment with small class sizes, enabling you to focus on what matters most: teaching and supporting your young people.
  • A strong, collaborative team where staff are valued and supported in every aspect of their professional journey.
  • Connecting with the local community and other special schools to enhance learning opportunities.
  • A vibrant, diverse, and welcoming school community, with a culture of kindness and respect at its heart.
  • Work-life balance – we believe in well-being for both our young people and staff, ensuring a healthy, fulfilling work environment.
  • Supportive Governors who are actively involved in shaping the future of our school.

Who we are looking for:

  • Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent) with experience working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or a strong desire to develop in this area.
  • Passionate about providing inclusive, engaging, and person-centred education.
  • Creative, adaptable, and reflective practitioners who are keen to innovate.
  • Collaborative team players who enjoy working with others and building positive relationships.
  • Committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with diverse needs.

If you are a consistently good or outstanding teacher who is eager to help shape the futures of our amazing young people, we’d love to hear from you!
